Aggregates : Aggregate Silo Conveyor replacement [Bulk Feed Hopper & EK 900]

Coveya are delighted to be working with Marshall Mono PLC, a leading supplier of external landscaping, interior design, paving, and flooring products.

Unfortunately, there had been a fire on an existing infeed conveyor that handled aggregate silo so the Coveya team was approached to supply a conveyor solution that could be delivered quickly whilst the original conveyor was repaired.

Coveya supplied on hire, our Bulk Feed Hopper with 3 x 15m lengths of our EK900 conveyor which is mounted on a scaffold, feeding into the top of the silo.  The bulk feed hopper allows the efficient use of their wheeled front loader, breaking the inclined conveyor run down into 3 x 15m lengths ensuring its speedy installation by crane.

As well as supplying the conveyor system itself, the Coveya team also conducted a free onsite survey ensuring that the right solution was delivered and they liaised with both the scaffold design and erection team to ensure the safe delivery, installation and ongoing use of the conveyor system.
