Animal Feed movement and how conveyors can help
Conveyors have many uses and support a vast range of industries and applications with agriculture and farming being one of them.
Conveyors offer an efficient and safe way of moving animal feed from pan mixers to transport within the allowed half an hour time slot. In fact, our Easikit 600, Easikit 900 and Easikit Mobile conveyors are the perfect solution and for a great many customers including; Bristol Port, GLW Feeds, Pencefn Feeds, MaelorFeeds, William Thompson (York) Ltd and NWF Agriculture Ltd they offered a way of improving efficiency and productivity.
With many years of experience of manufacturing and supplying conveyor solutions, we can also design and build bespoke conveyors that meet specific requirements and we did just that for Cannington Enterprises Ltd.
With the help of the Coveya team, a bespoke conveyor was designed so that centrifuge waste could be diverted to conveyors that would automatically convey from one to another and from one trailer to another, once each trailer had been filled. It enabled the ‘around the clock’ dewatered waste vegetation from their biomass process to be moved efficiently instead of offloading it from farm trailers.
